Early morning at the bottom of Havasu Falls (95 ft/29 m in height), Havasupai Reservation. The contrasting colors of the canyon walls, moss and the aquamarine pools are surreal (the creek is well known for its blue-green color and distinctive creamy-white travertine formations. This is due to large amounts of calcium carbonate that have precipitated out of the water and formed the limestone that lines on the creek and reflects its color so strongly). Despite the air temperatures at 35F/2C, the water was about 70F/21C. Thank you all for your support and visits!
