Mowich Lake is a peaceful lake in the Mt Rainier National Forest in Washington State at an elevation of 4,929 feet (1,502 m). The name "Mowich" derives from the Chinook jargon word for deer. Motor's of any kind are not allowed on the water which makes for a place of tranquillity and beauty for anyone to enjoy. Their are also many hiking trails that start at this lake leading you to other lakes hidden in the forest, water falls, and peaks.
