The Kirkjufell mountain is most likely the most photographed mountain in Iceland. I had to drive 2,5 hours to reach it, which meant getting up at 1.00 in the night. Unfortunately the sky was completely clear that morning except for two tiny clouds near the sunrise. Together with a German photographer we complained about the weather to be "too good for Iceland". Too bad I only had one chance to photograph this location. I definitely have to return to this place.
