After so many trips out recently of either completely cloudy skies and no sun or clear skies with no drama I felt like I was going a little stir crazy.
So I was very happy and excited after deciding to risk the long trip up Win Hill to try and capture some of the heather in a less than usual place. I had a panoramic in mind (as well as another shot) trying to capture the broad sweeping heather hills looking down to Ladybower.
When the sun broke through the smallest gaps in the cloud, the light came really good and I made this composition. I then realised my battery was low. I was very lucky and managed to press the shutter for the last frame before it turned off. That very nearly taught me a big lesson because after that the light went!
