"I woke up one morning in the Snowy Range Mountains to overcast skies and 30+ mph gusts. I was tempted to stay in the tent but begrudgingly I finally got out and made a short hike up the nearby hill. I found these perfectly positioned wildflowers and made a quick composition just as the sun was coming up. Normally I'd prefer the flowers to be still but the motion really added to the dynamics of the image this time and the flare helps to bring a human element into the image. Snowy Range is one of my favorite places in Wyoming and every time I visit I come back with a great and unique image."
