I got this shot of Watson Falls in Oregon on vacation. As we hiked the trail up to the base of the falls we caught a glimpse of the falls through a hole in the woods. The light was perfect, especially for a black and white shot. So I had my son help hold the base of the tripod while I set up the shot since we had to elevate it a bit in an awkward spot.
This is a single exposure with a polarizer and ND filter. I used my Tamron 17-50 at 17mm, f22. I may upload the color version for contrast later as I have several shots that I struggled choosing color or black and white.
