Located at Helensburgh (south of Sydney AUSTRALIA) this dissused railway tunnel hasnt had a train run through it since 1915. All it has seen since is a mushroom farm, curious kids and a few mugs like me staggering around in the dark with a camera.

It was my intention to take a few shots of the abandoned Helensburgh platform. Although dark, damp, musty and strange smelling the curiosity got the better of me and I didnt have much choice but to go exploring inside.

Although not equiped for any serious light painting I did have a bit of fun walking up and down the tracks swinging my LED head light around.

To my suprise I happened apon a large colony of glow worms- will definately ve returning with a full battery and a spare several hours (food beer and someone to yack to while the shutters open would probably be a good idea also). From the eyes I caught in my distant torchlight it was clear I wasnt alone in the tunnel, proximity to the ground suggests probably a very large cat but who knows what may have found a home in there.

Its all good fun!
