I love it when a plan comes together. I've been wanting to do a car light trail-type photo for a little while, but I wanted to do something a little different. St Catherine's Hill is a fairly sizable lump of chalk outside Winchester overlooking the M3 (among many other things). I drive this stretch of road every day on my commute, so I thought for a change I'd stop on my way home, scale the hill, grab a photo of the traffic and scurry back down again. Thankfully, this was exactly the sort of shot I was hoping for - a landscape with light trails!
It was still a bit light at this point so my 4 stop ND filter helped drag out the exposure to a full 15 seconds.
