Taken on the third day of my photography trip to the South Coast of NSW, this location in Kiama was a place that I was keen to see for myself after my good friend showed me some example images. It was our second visit here during our trip, this time there was more dramatic clouds than the first day.
Due to my preferred landscape lens breaking down, I utilised my 50mm lens to make this 3 shot panoramic. Due to my lack of experience shooting pano's at the time, the image was left uncomplete for a few months. The amount of editing I have done to this image, I could've gone back to the location 4 times over and got the perfect shot I was after. But instead I persisted to get this right in Photohshop.
I was inspired to edit this image to emulate the classic Fujichrome Velvia 50 film look, hence the deep saturation and contrast.
Such a beautiful location with distinctive rock formations, it is definitely a sight to see for yourself!
