In the far end one can see the outlier of the Southern Patagonian ice field, one of the largest ice fields out of the pole caps. The ice that you can see in this image has passed its way through the Grey Glaciar and is probably hundreds of years. Event though this glaciar is moving back it is still majestic. When you look at the location map on this side, you can see that this shot was taken in a sort of a bay where all the ice was collected. About 20 years ago this bay was completely covered by the glaciar ice meters high.
