Taken at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk, Virginia. I liked the natural light falling on this bird so I lingered to capture as many shots as I could while the lighting was good. The crane seemed to be very curious about odd sounds, which I made to get it to look up at me. The sound my camera made as I took the shots really intrigued the bird and I was able to capture some funny images of it as it looked this way and that, cocking its head at different angles to discover the source of the sound.
