Heavy fog at Aldeyjarfoss in northeastern Iceland. About 20 minutes before I captured this image the sun was out and it was looking like there was going some nice sunset light above the falls. Then suddenly, the thick fog rolled in. The fog that evening was so heavy that the drive back to our campsite in Myvatn took almost 2 hours. The low visibility made it impossible to drive faster than about 30kph! Even though there was no sunset light, I like how the fog muted the colors and created some depth in the scene.
