As we opened the curtains of the motel room to start the day, the sun was just coming up and my son started to make hand shadows on the wall from his bed. I was getting my camera gear and everything ready for the flight and stopped to take a few shots as he innocently enjoyed the warm morning sun shining onto his arms.
Throughout the following weeks this photo became the marker on the memory card as I'd sort through my photos - and for me it still acts as a good summary of what turned out to be a very memorable holiday.
