Seljalandsfoss, 60 metres (200 ft) tall, is one of the most famous and photographated waterfall in Iceland. Picture taken before shooting a time-lapse for my 4k time-lapse short film "Waterfalling in love with Iceland", awarded as Timelapse Showfest 2013 Bronze Winner. For this picture I experimented a technique alternative to a proper graduated filter: I put my hand in front of the lens and covered the sky for half of the exposure time. It kind of worked and the trick saved the sky in a single shot, without requiring me to go for HDR or exposure bracketing.
