I was lucky enough to be in Cyprus on a paid commission for Monarch Airlines to try and capture a different side to the island. Does this mean I'm now a truly international photographer?

Anyway, I've held the images a little while until they had checked over them and let me know they were happy which they were (phew)

This image is from the first day, I arrived at 17:30 and the sunset was at 18:30, after picking up the car I didn't think I'd catch anything but fortunately between the airport and the hotel there was this massive salt lake.

I pulled over to cash in on this opportunity, feeling tired walking across the salt lake. The closer I got to these puddles the more I sank which made shooting challenging but fun.

It was quite a weird experience, I have never shot a salt lake before and a lot of techniques needed are actually similar to that of shooting in the snow...albeit 30 degrees hotter!

Anyway, I hope you like the image. There'll be plenty more coming in the next week or so.
