La nef bordée de deux bas-côtés est de style roman bien qu'elle soit construite en pierre de Volvic (pierre volcanique) employée seulement à partir du XIIIe siècle. Il s'agirait donc d'un roman tardif.
Les chapelles nord de style gothique flamboyant (fin XIVème siècle).
La façade ouest de 1750.
La flèche du clocher avait été supprimée à la Révolution.
Elle l'est aussi par l'architecture de son choeur gothique qui représente avec ses trois travées et son rond-point, l'un des premiers témoignages de l'introduction du nouveau style en Auvergne.


The nave flanked by two aisles is Romanesque although built of Volvic (volcanic stone) used only from the thirteenth century. So it would be a late Romanesque.
