As my autumn has been spent teaching more than shooting, I had to go back and revisit some images from last year to find fall color.
This was from a hike Miles Morgan, my girlfriend, I and went on in the Columbia River Gorge. It was a TERRIBLY rainy day, so quite a bit of time was spent cloning out water spots. There was also a blend for depth of field, a bunch of luminosity masks for contrast stuffs, various layers for fine tuning color saturation/lightness, dodging and burning a ton of stuff for atmoshphere and light/shadows, etc, etc.
I like this much more than the version I processed last year. If you'd like to learn my approch to processing and my workflow, I teach it all online via Skype screen-sharing to people all over the world and have a blast doing it. All the info you need is at www.ryandyarphotography.com
