Here's something different. During the snowy owl irruption this year, many owls came down to Washington State very near to the ocean. However, most of them perched in area in the middle of the beach with tall grass. With the wind and huge waves, I have longed for a shot that shows both the owl and the ocean, but the locations where the owls perched were higher up and its hard to showcase the ocean and waves. Finally, I found this snowy owl perched at a perfect spot where the ocean was right behind him.
