One of my favorite locations to shoot is this lone tree in a field not too far from my house. Or I should say, it was this lone tree. I went there last night to photograph Venus and the Milky Way together, only to discover that the tree had sadly succumbed to the ravages of time and is no longer standing.
So I thought I would honor its memory by releasing one last shot from the spectacular lightning display I managed to capture there in January.
