Yesterday I was talking about Nature, and how we should understand that we are dependant and connected. Most of the time when we talk about nature, we immediatly start to imagine wild exotic places, pure and untouched landscapes. But nature is everywhere around us, sometimes, we just need to look closer.
Here is New York, one of my favorite cities, and most of the times, if you start to talk about nature and NY, you imagine Central Park...But look, nature is here too; on the roof tops.
Also, have you heard about the Brooklyn Grange project? 45,000 square foot rooftop farm in the Brooklyn Navy Yard... Yes vegetables grown in city center! You can read more about this here http://www.brooklyngrangefarm.com/about/
