What an amazing site this must have been when the Lewis and Clark Expedition came upon this magical place. I can see why Meriwether Lewis named this river after himself.
The Pacific Northwest speaks "forest". One of the familiar trees, the Red Cedar, dominates the hills, the mountains, the river canyons. This tree loves its water.
