When winter conditions become cold enough for the coastal waters to freeze over the Flatanger sea eagles have to move inland in order to find food.
This female White-tailed eagle was photographed from a hide up in the mountains of Smalielva - sitting in a hide for 8 hours in -25 Celsius doesn't seem to matter when you are in the company of these magnificent birds.
