A superb portrait of this Marten! I had lots of entertainment trying to get one of these guys to leave my cabin once. He finally left hanging on to my broom with his teeth! I tossed him and the broom outside.

That sounds like a great camp tale! I know they're pugnacious little fellas...like all of the weasel clan. This one had a tussle with a larger one a few minutes after I took the above image...too dark and too much brush to capture anything but the memory.
