Nice shot Jay and im pretty sure this will be a hit with the aviation community. Refreshing and interesting to have some background as a reference to the Phantoms speed and also to act a a pretty backdrop.

AFAIK, it's considered AF surplus and is no different than any other Phantom in the pipeline for eventual drone duty. They simply picked two (and there are two assigned to Heritage Flight "duty") that are in reasonable shape and took a minimum of "make up" so that they properly represent their storied history. There is an F-4 in private hands that is being operated by the Collings Foundation of Stowe, Mass.

Jay do you have any idea who's F-4 that is? I know we're not flying them anymore so is this one private?
