I had done a couple of scouts of this locion but hadn't been down to the castle itself. Parking in Sheen I made my slippery walk down.
The sun doesn't really rise any further around to the south than it does now so I knew this would be as good as it got.
Patience gave me this little bit of dappled light, just tipping the rock on the castle.
Composition is also very tough, you kind of want a hill to be to the left of you, instead I made use of the wall in front rather than trying to cut it out.
It's a tough location and I can see why it's not shot often, but I do like a challenge!
