This Prairie Falcon had just taken off with its prey - a Shoveler duck with snow on its wings and back. Seconds later a Bald Eagle pilfered the duck from the falcon. Splotches on the lower background are whitecaps on the Great Salt Lake. The falcon is tilted slightly down in flight due to the load it's hauling.
