Smith Rock State Park, Oregon
After walking up and down the Crooked River for an hour I decided to shoot this location of the river both to the East and then West because of the foreground rocks and rapids. I waited until it was quite dark but while there was still some blue in the sky to take this photo as I like the blue in the sky for some of my star shots as they seem to show less noise and looks cool to :)

This is a blend of 2 exposures using luminance masks, first was for the foreground @ 73 seconds and then for the sky @ 30 seconds. Both shot at ISO 5000

I have been asked by several people about doing workshops and am working on launching this aspect of my photo business. I would like keep the groups small with no more than 6 to 8 participants and focus on a more personal and informative experience for attendees.
