Three things: the River Seine, the Pont d'Iéna and the Eiffel Tower. All were quite lovely this evening. I spent about 40 minutes in this one spot watching the sky go from sunset to twilight to night, during that time managing this image along with a pinhole (which took about 25 minutes and was still a bit underexposed). I was surprised at how near I was to the steady flow of pedestrians across the bridge, yet the only other people that ventured down to this spot was a young German couple who made a couple images of their own then went their own way.
I made a near identical but still different black and white version of this image for the bridgetown aspect, but the color version is much more about the Eiffel Tower.
