This morning I woke up to lots of fog surrounding my neighborhood. I ran down the street, literally, in this new antique dress that I just got from a Chicago suburb, and started shooting. I had no concepts in mind, but when I got to the location I had already brainstormed 4! I shot this as an outtake, very simply to document how I felt. I don't mean for this image to be conceptual, and I also don't mean for it to be sad...I had the happiest morning I can imagine...feeling the mud kick up on my bare legs...feeling my feet go numb from the cold, but at the same time appreciating the numbness so I could keep shooting...it was all magical.
