Forgive me if this post is ignorant in some way. How is a photograph of circumpolar star trails that are now perfectly circular even possible? Are you superimposing two or more photos? Or wobbling the tripod or clock drive? Maybe these are secrets you won’t reveal. Cool image, nonetheless! Thanks.

The image is made up of a few hundred photos stacked, but the camera is in a fixed position on the tripod for the entire sequence, no movement. There is some distortion present due to atmospheric refraction and some UWA lens distortion.

I love the way you've done the star trails! Almost appears like a brush stroke. After all the light painting i've done, I still haven't done any star trails! This makes me want to give it a go :)
