So I am sitting at my PC working on client photos when I look outside my window and see this owl perched on a tree about 25ft from my deck. So I grabbed my camera and slowly made my way outside. Opening the door when it wasn't looking my way. Eventually I got close enough to fill the frame with the owl. Unfortunately it was getting quite dark by the time I spotted it so I had to shoot at ISO800, F2.8 to get a 1/30th of a second exposure. I am happy this one turned out. An opportunity NOT missed!
