I had originally come up with the idea after being a lego kick last month. You know how, inevitably, when you build a puzzle, or lego, you always end up with a missing piece? That was the original idea, and the original title was to be "Missing Piece". The results of that frustration being the inevitable smashing of the project, which is captured here.
I had started this a while ago and just never gotten around to finishing it up till this weekend. After Canon's unveiling of the specs for the 5d Mark3, i was a bit unimpressed, so I decided to change the title of this piece to reflect that.
Lighting was done with 1 beauty dish high infront, not where the light is pictured currently... that was drawn in. Then a softbox camera left which i now regret using... should have just gone with the 1 light.
Ended up having to do a good deal of DnB to get the lighting to feel like 1 main overhead light... like a dark room, poker game kinda thing.
I dont know how, but this ended up being a 3.5gig PS file!
