A very difficult shot for the post processing here! This is picture taken next to the Blackfriars Bridge in the center of London at night. I had to shoot 7 RAWs to get light on the sand and the bottom of the pillars but as well without "burning" and recover all the details from the illuminated industrial structure. The more detailed is the scene, the more difficult is the manual HDR technique I've started to develop to apply. Indeed, I've stacked all these different exposures in a stack in Photoshop CS5, I aligned them and blended them together manually using blending modes, layer masks and opacity. The hardest part is to stitch different exposures together but avoiding that the picture looks like made of several different pictures.
The light beam in the sky comes from the St Paul's Cathedral.
I hope you'll enjoy it!
