19! Good grief. There was me hoping you'd say 4. The quality is so much better than anything I can achieve with my standard macro lenses, so I've purchased a 77mm reverse ring to try myself with my lenses. Am I right in thinking that the wider the lens (widest I have is 17mm on a full frame), the better for macro reversal? I have a 400mm which I assume would be pointless trying it with.

better lense for reverse is 28mm and use the extension tube.
