Banteay Srei, or citadel of beauty, is a 10th century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
Built largely of red sandstone, that allows the elaborate decorative wall carvings.
The buildings are small, specially when measured by the standards of Angkorian constructions.
But their small size and their delicate decoration make them the jewel of Khmer art.
