I have always enjoyed roaming around the southeast side of Chicago mostly because it feels like one of the few neighborhoods in the city that hasn't seen radical changes over the past few years. Industry is still alive here and you can see barges full of raw materials make their way down the Calumet river constantly. It isn't pretty or clean but it feels like the Chicago of old. Towering over it all is the Skyway bridge which allows 42,000 vehicles a day to slip by without having to see any of it. This particular shot was assembled from 216 individual shots. At 300 PPI a print would be approximatley 8 feet long by 7 feet high.
