This cave is literally inside Los Angeles. Normally you'd see some other similar images from such an easy to get to spot but it's actually impossible to shoot the whole cave at the same time. I realized the potential for this shot the first time I ever came here and it took 8 more trips to figure it all out and get the light.
This is 3 horizontal 14mm images blended together vertically for a 200-degree field of view - more than triple the total area you can see with your eyes at one time, but it really captures the entire cave in the best light. The blend was obviously very complicated with the water motion and huge range of light, but after 8 tries I had it figured out.
