Couta Rocks
Tasmania's wild west coast was a destination Marianne and I remember very well. Driving through the Tarkine rainforest, we were in search of dunes but found the sea itself too aluring! We arrived to clear skies at mid afternoon but as the evening progressed, the clouds blew in giving rise to a crimson sunset the likes of which we rarely see. Rather than shooting directly into the sun, the fins of rugged rock were illuminated beautifully by this light.
