Sometimes when you want an iconic shot, but you don't want it to look like every other shot, you have to choose season that make the shot more striking. Not very many people visit this area during the Winter months. Even though this is frequently shot, I really love it with snow and I think it sets it apart.
I chose this shot for my Holiday card last year.
I shot at F22 to produce a slower shutter speed for a silky affect on the water.
