Second, this is my first time with such a portfolio all of which are dedicated to black skinned peoples, upon watching them carefully ,the fact that black is black and white is white is very deepened in my mind,(not on a discrimination or racist basis),
but that we are different genus's belonging to the same species is lightened in front of my eyes ,the reason I am saying this ,is I have tried to read the emotions on their faces ,but I couldn't at all, only on this image that I felt a familiar emotions to my eyes ,yet it is very obscure,I can not tell exactly what she feels ,apart from the sharp and strong look.
it seems to me that one should spend a time ,a long one with those African peoples to be able to read their emotions.
Despite all the unjust and unfair conditions they treated with from all other white peoples nations during the past and the present days, but they survived ,and gladly they maintained many if not all their traditions ,costumes, languages ,and ways of livings despite all the extreme difficulties and poverty.
Your portfolios is a shout ,a loud one in our faces and ears ,to stop all the unjust and unfair in treating the Africans as a second class peoples, and to treat them exactly as every white nation treats other white nation, and despite all of the differences between us from the colors, traditions, ways of lives ,they are not a hair less than us in having their own feelings and their own ways of expressing their emotions ,we have the same red blood ,and we share the same genes.
I envy you for this great works ,and I wished I have shot one of those great masterpieces portraits.
I apologized for this lengthy comments ,but I am touched by their fine and difficult to read emotions.
Accept my best regards, and all my respect to you and to each one of them.
