This is somewhat of a rare view in Grand Teton National Park. Normally, there just isn't much of a view when String Lake is concerned. This day, I was lucky enough to be blessed with a couple kayaking into my view. Lucky!
Here is why I like this image... I believe the three levels of "mountain" from left to right create a nice visual depth. The tree shadows in the foreground also contribute to that depth in a different plane. The kayaks' colors are complimentary to the scene and they just add a little "visual treat" or a human element or feeling of relaxation/pleasure to the scene. The distant shoreline has a sandy beach which creates a really nice visual delineation to the image.
