I love taking night shots as much as I love taking street photography in the day. The challenge with night photography is capturing the light and color as you see it. I'm not a huge fan of flash and ever since discovering the 1.4 lens I've been doing a lot of night photography. This however was shot with a 3.5/6.3 Tamaron with an open exposure. The colors come in richer this way.
This particular shot was at the 125th street stop on the 1 train up in Harlem. Beautiful area actually, goes to show, the further you live away from downtown doesn't necessarily mean it gets worse.
