I met a new friend from FM forum at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary. We both lay flat on the ground (imagine lots of ants) to get the low angle shot before sunset. We were on a slope. I felt blood all flowing into my head as we were laying there. And with the ants, even now, I still feel itchy.

I started to like taking pics of these birds at low angle more and more, as this is exactly the perspective they have on their own when looking for food in the water.
