What I loved about doing this shoot was that I woke up one morning after having bad dreams and simply decided that I would create a wonderful little dream world in my bedroom. I thought for a while about what that would look like, and what role I would play in that world...and I decided if I could be anyone, I would be the creator, giving life to the garden around me. I got to work sketching the image and what I wanted it to look like, and then shot all of the components necessary to put it together. Yesterday before I went to sleep I thought about this picture, and it turns out I didn't have a single nightmare...a big relief as the night before I dreamed of being hit by giant waves in the ocean.
