Well, actually the thing was a mourning dove. It totally stunned me to see this very small owl go after such a large prey item and subdue it with apparently little trouble.
Here the burrowing owl is flying back to it burrow and 6 hungry owlets. Quite the feast they had.

Yes, Al, this image got a negative vote that basically knock 4 big points off the pulse. I can't believe how immature some so called adults are. An image is gaining momentum and a person does not like to see someone else doing well, so they give a negative vote and do not every explain what they think is bad about the image.
The Dislike button should go. If a person does not like an image then they don't vote for it. That is influence enough on how an image does. No person should have the ability to take points away from an image, because the use of it is reckless.
