First light hits the mountains at the Convict lake, near Mammoth Lakes in California Sierra Mountains. There was not a cloud in the sky, but the water was crystal clear and the lake reflected the mountains really nicely. I scouted this location the night before, and found this driftwood that would make an interesting foreground, I thought.
