Flicking through a few collections in Lightroom I came across some sunrise photos I hadn't touched since I took them. All nicely bracketed and even taken on a tripod! (very rare for me). So I thought they deserved a little bit of attention. Half an hour later and I ended up with the photo above. Now I could say it was such an amazing sunset to witness etc, but it would be a load of bull, it was pretty misty and sunrise was very ordinary, but thanks to the wonders of digital buggering-about-ness I end up with a reasonable sunrise shot. I would feel guilty but it has taken me MANY failed attempts at polishing a turd to know what I need in the way or raw material to get something like this (low iso, bracketing to capture the sun and foreground detail, precise alightment and I guess a decent composition). As I have said all that I thought I might aswell include a before and after - http://tinyurl.com/ycyymfl - a bit of a difference really!
