Very attractive, the American Goldfinch Male is an extremely colourful bird. These birds love to eat seed heads and Toronto is currently having a harvest bloom of dandelion weeds!! I have seen hundreds of Goldfinch feasting on the seeds. City of Toronto no longer sprays weeds! You can only imagine what the City looks like this time of year!
