I will never forget my month in Turkey a few years ago, Antakya, Izmir, and of course, Istanbul. You've caught a universal mood from anywhere in our world and in our minds. Peace, sorrow, solitude. The clarity of the lit puddles closer to our eye and unseen by the man is juxtaposed with the filter of mist and merging of sea, sky and man who huddles. I love the levels that pull us to and away from the moment of the man. The title doesn't have to explain what the photo already tells us.
