I came upon this scene recently in Charleston, South Carolina. I waited a while for the courtyard to clear and was able to get this shot. Charleston is one of America's oldest cities and is full of great photo opportunities. This HDR image was processed using Photomatix Pro and uses three images spanning +/- 2 stops as there was so much contrast between the shadows and the upper areas of the buildings.
